Watch WordsThe National Commodore has identified three watch words to guide the Auxiliary in the performance of our missions.
Ready - Responsive - Resolute
Ready - focusing on the roles and missions for which we have
been given the authority to fulfill. We are ready to serve the country
in a comprehensive manner, as trained professionals, anticipating
opportunities, continuously developing expertise, and providing
resources when and where they are needed. Responsive - speaks to our ability to respond, to adapt and to
embrace change, opportunities and to practice intelligent opportunism as
individuals, but more importantly, organizationally. Our leaders will be
thoughtful and strategic, our organization will be lean Resolute - speaks to our value system, our commitment to our nation, the Coast Guard, the Auxiliary and the member. We value members with dedication to our mission regardless of their level of contribution, members with unique skills who want to make a difference through service. We value our commitment to the Coast Guard and the boating public, resolute and steadfast in meeting our responsibilities and commitments.
